Pastellone cocciopesto floor
In the prestigious restoration project of the baptistery of Treviso we have carried out the restoration of the flooring using the ancient technique of cocciopesto pastellone. It is a continuous surface floor characteristic of Venetian architecture, present above all in Renaissance buildings. The recovery of the flooring was achieved by placing a first coat of pink premixed and then applying a second coat of extra-fine product. The materials used are mixtures based on cocciopesto, specific natural components and colored earth. The cocciopesto pastellone is an environmentally friendly process, with a great effect.
